A Health Startup

A challenge to change your habits

A challenge to change your habits

Knowing you need to change your lifestyle is one thing. Actually doing it is another. This health startup had developed self-testing technology that gave people meaningful insights about their health, but they needed a way to help users act on those insights and build lasting habits.

The Challenge

The startup's self-testing technology generated rich, personal health data. The challenge was to design an experience that made this data feel actionable and motivating rather than overwhelming. Users needed guidance, encouragement, and a sense of progress to sustain behaviour change over time.

Approach

The design drew on psychological and behavioural principles to create an experience that feels supportive rather than prescriptive. Gamification mechanics like challenges, streaks, and milestones were woven into the flow to keep motivation high. Personalised nudges helped users stay on track without feeling lectured.

a seamless transition from insights to actions,

The result was a product that blended the precision of technology with the warmth of personal coaching, meeting users where they are and guiding them gradually towards their goals.
